Twin Rivers Preschool offers a Comprehensive Preschool Program.  The learning standards and benchmarks will be clearly expressed to each family at the beginning of the year.  Each family will receive a blank copy of the assessment report used at TRV so they will be informed and educated on the appropriate development of a 3, 4, or 5-year-old preschool aged child.  We must work together as both classroom and family educators to understand, nurture, and help the children develop the skills necessary to achieve their goals.

TRV is proud to have just adopted the Creative Curriculum framework.  The Creative Curriculum combines years of research on how children develop and learn, the environment in which they learn, what children learn, the role of the family, and the role of the teacher.  This framework is a perfect compliment to the Comprehensive Program already established at TRV Preschool.  We are a center-structured preschool which allows the children to learn at the pace intended for them, and to go one step further to challenge their minds and comfort level.  Children learn through play.  Everything from dolls to blocks, from painting to number puzzles; the children can go beyond their imaginations and learn things you never thought possible.  They will go beyond the familiar to learn new and exciting things while experiencing real-life situations.  TRV prides itself in offering children a quality education experience through knowledge of development and the child's brain.

The children who attend TRV Preschool will learn beginning reading, math, and problem-solving skills through active participation and hands-on activities.  Please ask any questions you may have about the curriculum.  More information about the Creative Curriculum framework is yet to come.
